Fill out the Source Credibility sheet as you find your research You need 3 credible sources (one must be from the database) for next Wednesday!

Engage: Introduction Notes to Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers Reflect: Considering Gladwell’s definition, why are Rosetans then outliers? What allows them to be outliers? Prep work: Read "The Matthew Effect" and bracket and label any places in the text that mention success as linked to culture, location or education. 1. Brainstorm list of what makes people successful
2. Read Forbes Article 3. TED Talk about what it means to be successful. Record 3 things she says. 4. Grit Questionnaire Link success to culture, location, or education to form your own research question. We will be using Outliers to help use learn about success and form our research question on the topics. |
