Outcome 5: Students will analyze literary and visual elements to justify a comparative representation or interpretation of character, setting, or theme in multiple mediums.
5.1 practice: I can compare/contrast The Reduced Shakespeare’s interpretation of character with Shakespeare’s text. I can explain (analyze) how TRSC’s interpretation achieves a different purpose from Shakespeare. Prep work: Explore the slide show and learn about some of the multimedia apps. Think about ways you might use one of these resources as a way for you to analyze with multimedia.
I can edit and revise my rough draft.
I can critique others' essays and provide summary feedback as well as constructive criticism. I can revise and submit my final essay by 8 am Friday in Google Docs. Prepare: Evaluate the Friar's speech on p. 688 and argue whether or not this was necessary for Shakespeare to include if the audience already knows the scheme.
